Polymaths is on display in the MAD lobby. Visit the exhibition by entering at the Massachusetts Avenue entrance and walking down the main hallway, or by entering off of Vassar Street.

Designers at MIT are polymaths, working across disciplines to craft vital, elegant solutions to the world’s toughest problems. Polymaths — the Morningside Academy for Design (MAD)’s contribution to the Occupancy exhibition — features original pieces from MAD-connected faculty and students across the Institute, with work ranging from AI-driven storytelling and material experimentation to humanitarian interventions and design entrepreneurship.

Polymath Designers is curated by John Ochsendorf, Roi Salgueiro Barrio, Mateo Fernandez, and Nia Rich. Occupancy is curated by Caroline Jones and Mehves Lelic.
