Caitrin Lynch

Bio

Caitrin Lynch is Professor of Anthropology at Olin College of Engineering, where she was previously Dean of Faculty. She teaches courses in anthropology, design, engineering, and entrepreneurship. In 2024-25, she is on sabbatical as a Visiting Researcher on the Robotics, Ethics and Society team at the Robotics and AI Institute in Cambridge, Mass. Dr. Lynch is the author of two books: Retirement on the Line: Age, Work, and Value in An American Factory, and Juki Girls, Good Girls: Gender and Cultural Politics in Sri Lanka's Global Garment Industry.
