Ela Ben-Ur unleashes our abilities to make things better in our lives, work, and world. Over the last decade she’s distilled expertise from her 20-year MIT+IDEO design background with many other people and practices into Innovators’ Compass: five powerful questions (in all-free formats at innovatorscompass.org) that people use from preschools to colleges, companies, and communities worldwide, exploring new possibilities together with tools in and around them.

Ela leads workshops at settings as diverse as the US Conference on AIDS, International Development Design Summit, National Science Teacher's Association, International Society for Technology in Education, MIT Sloan, and SXSW, and teaches courses from product design to life design at Olin College. She loves being outdoors with her family and fiddling in her band.
